About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Australia Wide Engineering Recruitment. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for providing structural engineering design using leading technology of steel and concrete structures including foundations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide structural engineering design using leading technology of steel and concrete structures including foundations
  • Inspect, appraise and report on industry assets and structures
  • Manage engineering projects including the supervision of drafting subcontractors
  • Foster client relationships for mutual benefit
  • Mentor and support engineering graduates and other team members

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor of Engineering degree qualification in civil engineering with post graduate qualifications in structural engineering highly regarded
  • Around 10 years post graduation experience working in an engineering role involving design of steel structures and foundations, in Australia
  • Excellent and demonstrated communication skills
  • Ability to travel locally and interstate
  • Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter
  • But also a profession that thrives working in a team environment
