The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with principal and senior engineers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Analysis: Prepare concept and schematic designs for various building structures, undertaking detailed analysis, design computations, and constructability reviews.
  2. Project Coordination: Coordinate and participate in design reviews with other project team consultants, architects, and clients.
  3. Site Inspections: Conduct site visits to perform inspections and provide observation reports and supporting engineering advice.
  4. Team Leadership: Guide and liaise with design teams of engineers and drafters to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant engineering qualifications and Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
  • At least 5 years of experience in structural design, with a focus on building design.
  • Client liaison experience and the ability to perform planning, concept, and detailed design.
  • Knowledge of SpaceGass, AutoCAD, and Strand7 is desired.
