**The Organisation**

Our client is a multi-disciplined engineering consultancy with an enviable project portfolio across multiple sectors, including commercial, health, education, retail, residential, and industrial. Due to an increase in activity, they are seeking to employ a Senior Structural Engineer to lead their Melbourne office.

**The Role**

As a Senior Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports, and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects.
  • Project management, including overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Completing site inspections and preparing client reports.
  • Carrying out general engineering duties to ensure quality and systems/process requirements are achieved.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Supporting clients and internal customers on technical queries.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a Structural Engineering role within a consultancy environment.
  • Experience working across a variety of projects in commercial, health, education, retail, and residential sectors.
  • The ability to produce complex calculations in all structural materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
  • Knowledge of Spacegass, ETABS, Rapt, and RAM concept will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
