About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People and Culture Business Partner to join our team at Tandem Partners. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining a strong and supportive partnership between the operational business unit and People, Culture and Safety.

As a People and Culture Business Partner, you will provide effective, accurate and timely human resources support, advice and coaching to managers and employees across the organisation. You will work closely with the People and Culture Manager to develop and implement HR strategies that drive a high-performing culture and support the organisation's purpose and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees across the organisation
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that drive a high-performing culture
  • Work closely with the People and Culture Manager to achieve organisational goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a not-for-profit, family community services, mental health, disability, or volunteer environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources management, business, or psychology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including coaching, influencing, and negotiation
  • Strong attention to detail and a strong results orientation
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package of $120-130,000 inclusive of superannuation, commensurate with experience, with salary packaging (up to $15,900 for living expenses and up to $2,650 for meals/entertainment). We also offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
