Role Overview:

The position responsibilities include managing multiple Engineering Geomorphology projects, providing specialist scientific advice and support to Clients and relevant teams, identifying opportunities (internally and externally) and engaging potential Clients to secure project work.

Requirements:

Minimum 4-8 years' experience in fluvial/coastal geomorphology, hydrology and hydraulics, geological sciences or environmental/civil/natural resources engineering.

A PhD or equivalent experience in fluvial/coastal geomorphology, hydrology and hydraulics, geological sciences or environmental/civil/natural resources engineering.

Strong analytical skills, with a background across some of the following topics:

  • Fluvial/coastal geomorphology with proven understanding of complex interactions between geomorphic and surface processes, hydraulics and sediment transport across catchments and coasts
  • Numerical modelling of river/coastal hydraulics, hydrology and sediment transport
  • River and/or coastal engineering design and management

Effective communication with colleagues and clients. Strong commercial acumen and ability to support building the client base.

Genuine ability and desire to be a leader in supporting and elevating the team.
