Environmental Engineer Role

Water Technology is a leading water consultancy with a strong reputation for technical excellence. Our expertise spans coastal and marine engineering, hydrogeology, hydrology, hydraulics, integrated water management, geomorphology, environmental planning, and civil and environmental engineering.

We are seeking highly skilled Environmental Engineers (or Scientists) with experience in conducting environmental assessments and audits across diverse projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting environmental assessments and audits
  • Providing input into SEEs, REFs, PEAs, and EIAs under NSW and Commonwealth Environmental Legislation
  • Collaborating with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand
  • Contributing to proposals and tenders at both a state and national level

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science, experience with environmental impact assessments and approvals in a consulting environment, and knowledge of the NSW Environmental Planning & Assessment Act and related legislation.
