Job Opportunity: Subcontracts Administrator

We seek a skilled Subcontracts Administrator to support our procurement and supply chain function.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for all phases of subcontract administration, including qualifying suppliers, maintaining files in accordance with established procedures, and issuing requests for proposals as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualifying Suppliers and Developing Effective Contracts
  • Maintaining Comprehensive Files and Records
  • Evaluating Proposals and Quotations
  • Negotiating Subcontract Agreements
  • Preparing Documentation and Monitoring Procurement Actions
  • Performing Peer Reviews and Identifying Contract Risks
  • Managing Close-out Procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of experience in purchasing or subcontracts
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Business Law
  • Strong analytical reasoning skills and ability to interpret policies and government regulations
  • Effective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders and subcontractors
  • Ability to mitigate contractual and procurement risks
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in subcontract discussions
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Desirable Skills:

  • Highly organized and systematic approach to task management
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Experience working across program teams, finance, legal, and compliance departments
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
