As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in shaping our regulatory strategy and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Stay up-to-date with emerging regulatory trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to provide expert advice on regulatory impacts and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with regulators to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
- Represent the business in high-level discussions on regulatory reporting and compliance.
- Align reporting frameworks with business objectives, focusing on areas such as decarbonisation and market expansion.
- Possess a degree in law, business, accounting, finance, engineering or a related field.
- Bring a minimum of 8 years' experience in a regulatory, compliance or reporting-focused role.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of regulatory reporting requirements in the energy sector.
- Experience with governance, risk and compliance (GRC) tools is highly desirable.
