Scientific Laboratory Team Manager

At the heart of this role is a dynamic team leader who will provide exceptional customer service, ensure superior data quality, and drive on-time delivery of results. As a seasoned professional in microbiology, you will coordinate our team to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and manage work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Supervise the microbiology team and develop staff resources.
- Optimize operations for maximum efficiency and ensure compliance with approved methodologies.
- Maintain quality systems that meet or exceed industry standards.
- Conduct result assessments, audits, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or Biology.
- Commercial microbiology laboratory experience.
- Desirable skills include algae counting and/or cryptosporidium analysis.
- NATA accreditation and understanding of NATA requirements and ISO 17025.
- Quality Systems and Quality Control knowledge.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle a demanding workload confidently.
