Scientific Laboratory Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to work in our state-of-the-art laboratory, providing high-quality pathology results for patients and clinicians.
The successful applicant will be part of a team of scientists and technicians, responsible for delivering operational laboratory activities, coordinating scientific and technical training, and reviewing laboratory practices to ensure compliance with standards and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering laboratory operations and ensuring timely delivery of results
- Coordinating scientific and technical training programs
- Reviewing laboratory practices to ensure adherence to quality control measures
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Science/Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent, with relevant pathology subjects
- Proven knowledge and experience in pathology services, laboratory information systems, patient systems, quality control systems, and computer applications like Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Team player with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and initiative skills
- Understanding of legislation, policies, and safety requirements
- CT(ASC) qualification with knowledge to screen and report cytology preparations
