About the RoleThe Family Wellbeing Manager plays a critical role in leading the team in providing wrap-around care for young people and their families across the ATSICHS system. This includes working closely with various departments, such as Human Services, Medical, and Early Childhood services, to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the implementation of staff supports that maintain adherence to the program Model of Care and Human Service Practice Framework.
- Developing and implementing management operational processes and non-negotiable tasks.
- Providing one-to-one formal in-field coaching/training with each staff member, utilizing the Mobcare coaching system and relevant tools.
- Ensuring the transparent use, access, and modelling of data for staff and team to see and understand on a regular basis.
- Making leadership decisions that are data-informed and based on the priority of achieving client impact and quality.
- Ensuring direct reports and team consistently use client outcome tools (Outcome Rating Scale) at each home contact.
- Ensuring all case plans and interventions provided by the team are meaningful outcomes-based and do not promote client dependence on services.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Child Safety Service Centre Managers to ensure programs and services are responsive to the needs of partners.
- Directly and proactively managing team culture worries, ensuring changes are consulted with the Program Manager.

- A starting annual salary of $113,000 (depending on qualifications and experience).

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Social Science, Health, Allied Health, Youth Work, Community Services, Family Intervention, or Criminology with 4 years' relevant experience in family support, child protection, youth support, or a related field.
- Or a current Diploma in Community Services, Social Work, Human Services, Child and Family, Allied Health, Youth Work, Child and Family Intervention with 5 years' relevant experience in family support, child protection, youth support, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a case management role.
- Demonstrated ability and comfort working in a performance-driven environment to meet individual weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance targets.
- Demonstrated ability to build client agency, self-efficacy, and facilitate change through client empowerment, while actively discouraging client dependence on supports.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to provide behavior change interventions that build client self-awareness and active change in achieving their identified goals.
- Demonstrated ability to work with the whole-of-family, irrespective of primary client, in meeting the totality of family needs.
- Demonstrated ability in coordinating multiple services in providing access to holistic care for clients, particularly integrating internal agency supports across multiple teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the factors contributing to vulnerability, disengagement, and intergenerational trauma of client group.
- Experience with case management for high-risk and/or crisis clients, with high-level planning and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the supports available to target clients in the areas of mental health, substance misuse, education, employment, and housing.
The successful candidate will also need to:
- Be willing to travel across the Logan and/or Brisbane region, as per program location.
- Hold a current driver's license.
- Be flexible to work outside 8:30am-5pm business hours in meeting individual client needs and providing responsive care.
- Hold a Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply.
- Have a valid police check.
