Job Overview

This role is a leadership position in Property Services and Facilities Branch, focusing on strategic management and operational delivery of safe, functional and community-focused property and facility services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing branch operations, including resource allocation and program delivery with a strong emphasis on safety.

They will also provide advice on leasing, acquisitions, State land dealings, property market trends and cost-effective management of infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage branch operations, including resource allocation and program delivery with a focus on safety
  • Provide expert advice on leasing, acquisitions, State land dealings, property market trends and cost-effective management of infrastructure
  • Oversee the operational management and service delivery for council-owned facilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of long-term property and facility strategies, initiatives and policies
  • Advise stakeholders on effective property services and facilities management
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in property management, facility management or a related field
  • Experience in achieving strategic and operational objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in operational service delivery in fast-paced environments
  • Proven ability to navigate real estate law, property titling and tenure matters
  • Strong financial management skills
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills to lead a team effectively

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in property management, facility management or a related field
