Responsibilities- Manage branch operations, including budget preparation, resource allocation and program delivery with safety-first leadership
- Provide advice and negotiations on leasing, acquisitions, State land dealings, property market trends and cost effective management of infrastructure
- Oversee the operational management and service delivery for day-to-day council owned facilities
- Lead the development and implementation of long-term property and facility strategies, initiatives and policies and procedures
- Provide advice to stakeholders, including Councillors and management regarding effective property services and facilities management
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in property management, facility management or related field
- Experience in achieving strategic and operational objectives
- Demonstrated experience in operational service delivery in a fast-paced and complex environment
- Proven capability in navigating real estate law, property titling and tenure matters
- Established financial management skills
- High level of inter-personal and communication skills, both oral and written to effectively lead a team to success

This is a fixed-term contract with an attractive remuneration package that includes 12.5% superannuation and leave loading.
