Responsibilities
  • Manage branch operations, including budget preparation, resource allocation and program delivery with safety-first leadership
  • Provide advice and negotiations on leasing, acquisitions, State land dealings, property market trends and cost effective management of infrastructure
  • Oversee the operational management and service delivery for day-to-day council owned facilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of long-term property and facility strategies, initiatives and policies and procedures
  • Provide advice to stakeholders, including Councillors and management regarding effective property services and facilities management
About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in property management, facility management or related field
  • Experience in achieving strategic and operational objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in operational service delivery in a fast-paced and complex environment
  • Proven capability in navigating real estate law, property titling and tenure matters
  • Established financial management skills
  • High level of inter-personal and communication skills, both oral and written to effectively lead a team to success
