Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Melbourne-based New Employment Services team, you will play a vital role in helping injured workers regain their independence and confidence.

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with clients, employers, and allied health professionals to provide safe and sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce. You will be responsible for identifying job skills and abilities, developing strategies to promote independence, and delivering exceptional employment services.

About the Role
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized employment plans.
  • Apply customer service principles to deliver outstanding employment services and support.
  • Broker new employment opportunities in the Melbourne Metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
  • Build strong relationships with local employers and organizations to facilitate successful placements.
  • Complete regular progress reports and other documentation as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in occupational rehabilitation or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in employment services or disability employment as a high performer.
  • Strong resume writing skills with an understanding of the local labor market.
  • A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers.
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers.
  • Current driver's license and motor vehicle.
