Job Title: Strategic Procurement and Contract Manager

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires exceptional leadership skills to oversee strategic procurement processes, manage complex service agreements, and drive operational excellence across Adelaide's southern metropolitan health services.

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Finance Officer and be responsible for planning and managing the delivery of best practice procurement and contract management across Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads, plans and manages SALHN's complex and critical contract and procurement functions,
  • Provides strategic leadership and direction for the capital equipment and asset purchase program across SALHN,
  • Initiates, manages and strategically plans contract and procurement projects across SALHN,
  • Ensures effective contracting administration mechanisms, processes and systems are in place.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a proven track record in leading complex contracting and procurement projects at a senior level.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Management/ Administration, exceptional analytical, organisational and strategic planning skills, and demonstrated ability to negotiate and liaise with senior management and executive levels.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to lead and manage multifaceted contracts and service level agreements for large and complex acquisitions,
  • Demonstrated high level facilities management experience, including the planning and delivery of strategies, projects and financial management,
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to establish high levels of credibility with clients and stakeholders.
