About the Role

This position is responsible for managing procurement activities to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category management strategies to deliver value for money solutions.
  • Prepare and conduct tenders to procure goods and services that meet business needs.
  • Achieve cost savings across multiple procurement categories.
  • Plan, develop and negotiate commercial aspects of contracts to deliver required business outcomes.
  • Consult with stakeholders to determine business needs and determine the appropriate contracting framework.
  • Create and manage files for preferred suppliers, ensuring effective communication to the greater business.
  • Assist the business to develop contract management plans, processes and frameworks to manage commercial risks and monitor supplier performance.
  • Monitor group performance against organisational targets and provide advice on sustainability practices.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in a Procurement, Finance or Operational environment.
  • CIPS Level 4 or higher desirable, though not essential.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, Power BI and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Purchase Plus or relevant P2P systems.
  • Stakeholder Management Skills.
  • Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple end-to-end procurement cycles.
