About the Role:

This is a critical leadership position that supports patient care at Flinders Medical Centre.

The role oversees strategic procurement processes, manages complex service agreements and drives operational excellence in Adelaide's southern metropolitan health services. It reports to the Chief Finance Officer and involves planning and managing critical programs for best practice procurement and contract management across SALHN.

  • Leads, plans and manages SALHN's complex contract and procurement functions, ensuring achievement of government and agency objectives.
  • Provides strategic leadership and direction for capital equipment and asset purchase programs, offering high-quality advice to Executive and business units.
  • Leads the effective determination of priorities for contract and procurement projects, ensuring risk management and contentious issue resolution.
  • Oversight and monitoring are provided, with expert input into performance analysis and improvement development.
