Senior Consultant/Senior Manager Role

NAB is seeking a seasoned professional to join its Merchant Pricing and Portfolio Management Team.

About the Role

This Senior Consultant/Senior Manager will play a crucial role in developing and executing pricing strategies for Merchant Services across various customer segments, ensuring profitability and strong relationships with clients.

The successful candidate will analyze the competitive environment to identify opportunities for pricing optimization and differentiation while considering broader economic and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing decisions.
  • Manage the delivery of end-to-end pricing value chain, ensuring robust processes and controls align with internal standards.
  • Support strategic initiatives and business-as-usual activities as required, including business case modeling and analysis.
  • Provide insights and forecasts on business revenue performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing models, decisions, and changes align with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in banking, preferably in a pricing or product management function.
  • Strong understanding of pricing models and data management, with expertise in end-to-end process value chains that manage profitability across the customer lifecycle and risk.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering results with attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory, risk, and compliance environments in banking and finance.
  • Business financial acumen.
