Burgmann Anglican School is seeking a visionary leader to head its Senior School Mathematics faculty. As a highly skilled educator, you will be responsible for leading and managing teaching in the senior school mathematics department.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality differentiated teaching and learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers to achieve academic excellence and student success.
  • Oversee the administration and budget of the faculty, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with senior school leadership to develop and implement curriculum and pedagogy initiatives.

Teaching Duties
  • Design and deliver inclusive educational programs that foster student engagement and motivation.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.
  • Contribute to co-curricular programs and pastoral care initiatives that promote student well-being.

Selection Criteria
  • Relevant 4-year education degree and ACT Teacher Quality Institute registration.
  • Demonstrated passion for effective learning and teaching, with experience in secondary teaching and leadership roles.
