The Neighbourhood Coordinator plays a pivotal role in leading a team of Support Workers and Volunteers, driving meaningful change in Home and Community Care services.
This role facilitates high-quality service delivery, empowering clients to maintain independence at home and fostering connections with their local community.
As the central point of contact, the Neighbourhood Coordinator oversees the coordination of services, navigating individual client needs and cultivating strong professional relationships with each client and their support network.
- Tertiary or Diploma qualification in a relevant field such as Aged Care Health Business or equivalent years of experience
- Proven experience in supervising a team nurturing them through ambiguity and change
- Significant understanding of client needs converting them into positive service delivery outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills prioritizing client-centred care
- Effective budget planning and management skills are not required
- Excellent relationship-building skills both internally and externally
- Passion for social change and contributing to an organisation influencing vulnerable communities
- Proficient in using multiple computer applications with a willingness to learn new systems
- First Aid Certificate is required
- Current driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
As a Neighbourhood Coordinator you will be responsible for:

To be successful in this role you will need to possess:
