Global Partnership Development Manager

This is a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the Faculty of Science's global strategy.

You will foster high-impact international partnerships, enhance global visibility, and drive meaningful collaboration across diverse stakeholders.

  • Develop strategic partnerships: Identify, assess, and grow global partnerships that advance research, education, and engagement priorities.
  • Coordinate international activities: Manage international delegations, events, and agreements, ensuring alignment with University policies and compliance frameworks.
  • Advise internal stakeholders: Act as a trusted advisor on international initiatives, working closely with internal and external partners to coordinate and align engagement activities.
  • Sustain continuous improvement: Support the development of policies, track global trends, and help embed a culture of innovation across the Faculty's international engagement portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and supervise the International Engagement Coordinator, supporting capability development and performance.
  • Develop strategies for engaging key global audiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and influencers.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of international engagement activities.

Requirements:

  • A postgraduate qualification in international engagement, global strategy, or higher education management.
  • Demonstrated success managing international partnerships in complex institutional environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Strong project management and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive data-informed approach.
