Job Description

Work for a well-established IT consultancy firm in the Sydney CBD location, offering hybrid working and partially remote opportunities.

The permanent position offers scope for skills growth and provides an ideal environment to optimize, accelerate and transform IT infrastructure to increase productivity and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Our team is seeking a skilled Splunk consultant to facilitate the design, build and implementation of complex/scalable Splunk infrastructure and monitoring solutions via dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand monitoring systems and business needs.
  • Design and document solutions to report and integrate with enterprise systems.
  • Scope and estimate effort involved in delivering Splunk solutions.
  • Deliver Splunk solutions including installation, configuration, data onboarding and creation of knowledge objects.
  • Build integrations and custom solutions using various technologies such as Python scripts and Rest API.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders on infrastructure, deployments and project delivery details.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Relevant degree and/or 3+ years of experience

Substantial experience within an Enterprise-level Splunk environment

Demonstrated experience and ability to build Splunk Solutions

Expertise in working with large data sets

Team-oriented, stakeholder management and project delivery skills

Advanced knowledge of integration with Enterprise level systems

Experience with web servers and database platforms

Experience in creating technical documentation

Familiarity with code repositories such as GIT or Bitbucket
