Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at Port Arthur. As a Social Worker, you will play a critical role in providing support to children and families affected by family violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and family support to children and families affected by family violence.
  • Contribute to capacity building in schools, Child and Family Centres, and communities to improve understanding of the impact of family violence and trauma on learning and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support children and families.
  • Provide education and training to schools, Child and Family Centres, and communities on family violence and trauma.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work or a related field.
  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
  • A current driver's licence.
