Job Summary

The Department of Health, Tasmania is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Allied Health Professional to fill the role of Regional Complex Care Coordinator - CYMHS. This position is a key part of our Child and Youth Mental Health Service, providing clinical coordination and assessment services to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level clinical coordination services to support the needs of children and young people with complex mental health concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans that incorporate a range of services and interventions.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including families, carers, and community service providers.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia or degree in Social Work giving eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
Desirable Criteria
  • A minimum of 3 years current postgraduate experience in a field relevant to the position.
  • Holds, or is working towards, postgraduate qualifications relevant to the position.
What We Offer

The Department of Health, Tasmania offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,114 - $130,181 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation contribution. Additionally, you may be eligible for a Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum.
