Procurement and Supply Chain Assistant

This role is a key position in our company, responsible for managing procurement activities and ensuring product quality standards are met. It bridges supply chain operations with quality assurance to help the company maintain efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

The Procurement and Supply Chain Assistant plays a critical role in sourcing materials and products cost-effectively, delivering them on time, and meeting quality standards. This includes collaborating with internal departments and external suppliers to maintain accurate order records, monitor inventory levels, and support continuous improvement across procurement and supply chain processes.

  • Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and delivery speed.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases, pricing lists, and procurement documentation.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders based on requisitions or forecasts.
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers and evaluate options based on price, quality, and delivery.
  • Track order confirmations, shipment updates, and deliveries.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve issues related to delays, discrepancies, or returns.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance metrics.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking of materials and products.
  • Support inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
  • Coordinate with warehousing and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt of goods.
