The Role

An exciting procurement and supply chain opportunity has become available to support the business across its supply chain and sustainable procurement policies. You will play a vital role in supporting the procurement process, ensuring the organisation obtains goods and services efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with relevant regulations. The role will be pivital in supporting the business to achieve ongoing regulatory and legal obligations in how they source and procure their products from overseas.

Day to Day

As a procurement and/or supply chain professional you will have a diverse range of general marketing skills and the ability to demonstrate the following:

  • Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies in alignment with organisational goals
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and manage contracts
  • Assist in the implementation of sustainability initiatives, including due diligence systems
  • Support the preparation and coordination of audits, including PEFC/FSC and other compliance-related audits.
  • Provide administrative support for procurement activities, including maintaining accurate records and preparing reports as required.
  • Following up shipping requests and working closely with customers inventory planning teams

Skills needed

  • Ability to work collaboratively across other departments (marketing, sales, operations etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Self-motivated and able to work to and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced, agile environment

Reporting to the Procurement Manager based locally, you will be given the support and guidance needed to be successful in your role. The right attitude and a willingness to work to outcomes will be key to success with this organisation.
