Procurement Specialist Position

The procurement specialist role is a key position within the supply chain logistics team. In this capacity, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to identify and recruit potential candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Identify and engage with potential candidates using various methods, including social media, job boards, and professional networks.
  • Evaluate resumes and applications to ensure they meet the requirements of the role.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to determine the best fit for the position.
  • Assess applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to match them with open positions.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for new hires.
  • Cultivate business development and client relationship management opportunities.
  • Contribute to the company's services and future directions with a values-based approach.

Requirements:

  • A formal degree in Business, Logistics, or Engineering.
  • Proven experience as a procurement specialist in supply chain logistics.
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of third-party logistics (3PL), supply chain operations, warehousing, and logistics.
  • Interest in approaching new clients and managing ongoing client relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with HR consulting professionals.
