We are seeking an experienced Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a diverse range of breakfast dishes, from traditional full hot breakfast to healthier options.
Main Responsibilities:- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, cook and serve food for the breakfast buffet showcasing variety and flair.
- Inventory Management: Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage following inventory control procedures.
- Cleaning and Hygiene: Maintain all working areas clean and tidy, washing all dishes during service.
- Assistance with Events: Assist with in-house functions, restaurant and cafe food as required.
- Maintenance and Reporting: Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned, reporting any problems to the Operations Manager.
- Experience and Skills: Experience in buffet breakfast service preferred, delivering consistent, high-quality food while maintaining set food cost.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work in conjunction with service teams to ensure quality product and service to guests.
- Planning and Organisation: Have excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrate great communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and go above and beyond for our guests.
