Financial Strategist Position

Role Overview:

This key role plays a pivotal part in driving business success, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. A strong leadership approach and collaborative mindset are essential for this position.

  • Interpreting financial metrics to provide insights on trends and drivers.
  • Weekly sales and working capital analysis.
  • Monthly management reporting and divisional segment packs.
  • Weekly cash forecasting.
  • Managing data integrity and support for IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 Business Intelligence Tool.
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting processes, engaging senior managers to define business strategies and build finance operating plans.
  • Business partnering - feasibilities, resource utilisation, pricing analysis.
  • Continuous liaison with the CFO, CEO, and department heads.
  • Coaching team members.
  • Leading projects in FP & A.
  • Collaborating on business improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A qualified Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant member with experience in a similar senior FP & A role.
  • Advanced experience in BI tools like IBM Planning Analytics / TM1, Power BI, and Adaptive Insights.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to identify trends and provide continuous insights on key drivers.
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
