Job Title

As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the success of our organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting analytical and laboratory testing, monitoring instrumentation performance, and communicating test results. You will work closely with our quality and operational teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine quantitative and qualitative inspections and laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process, and final products independently.
  • Monitor and interpret data from laboratory instruments, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Communicate test results to internal customers, providing clear and concise information.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and simple repairs on laboratory equipment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • TAFE qualification or relevant experience in agriculture, food science, chemistry, or related discipline.
  • Experience in a laboratory role, preferably in a quality control environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing priorities and deadlines.
