Job Opportunity: HSE Coordinator

At our organisation, we require an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Coordinator to join our team.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide expert guidance and support to our exploration drilling teams in relation to safety management practices and procedures.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have excellent organisational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, as well as a demonstrated commitment to driving positive safety cultures within the workplace.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field leadership activities aligned with our company's and client requirements, while also maintaining effective liaison with client representatives on safety and training-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site visits and providing technical expertise on health and safety protocols.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive incident investigation reports and recommendations.
  • Providing coaching and support to teams on hazard identification and risk assessments.
  • Maintaining accurate records and data across various internal systems.

Requirements:

  • A relevant WHS qualification - minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
  • Standard 11 induction certification.
  • Ability to operate and maintain a four-wheel drive vehicle (RIIVEH305).
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
  • A valid driver's licence.
  • A current National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination.
