HSE Advisor Role

As a key player in our organization's Safety, Security and Risk department, the HSE Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with our Health, Safety and Environment management system.

HSE Coaching and Training Responsibilities

  • Provide technical, behavioral and leadership coaching to front-line managers on health, safety and environment.
  • Deliver essential training to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles safely and effectively.

Incident Investigations and Analysis Duties

  • Support and facilitate incident investigations, implementing corrective actions as required.
  • Analyze hazards and identify control measures to ensure a safe working environment.

Leadership and Field Experience Requirements

  • Demonstrate strong field leadership in HSE, attending Pre-Shift Instruction meetings and promoting a culture of safety among team members.
  • Utilize advanced computer literacy to analyze data and implement effective solutions.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent experience. Ideal candidates will possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking, and a solid understanding of WHS legislative frameworks.

The successful candidate will also have experience with WHSMS software and databases, ICAM Lead Investigator certification, and root cause analysis experience.
