Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to join our project delivery team in Perth, WA.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participating in project meetings to ensure effective collaboration and communication among team members.
  • Providing guidance and training on systems compliance to enhance safety outcomes.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement control measures.
  • Identifying risks and collaborating with the team to develop suitable risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinating and overseeing incident management to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Assisting in site management activities as required to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Facilitating training and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety awareness and best practices.
  • Coordinating internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • A minimum Cert IV OHS qualification or equivalent to demonstrate expertise in health and safety principles.
  • Prior experience in a safety-focused role within the construction industry, preferably in the industrial sector, to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.
  • Proficiency with automated safety management systems to efficiently manage data and track performance metrics.
  • Working knowledge of WHS best practice and legislative requirements to ensure compliance and minimize liabilities.
  • An effective communicator and relationship builder to foster strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • An understanding of how to drive, develop, and maintain safety behaviors to create a positive safety culture.
