The RoleThe Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for planning, design, and analysis activities to ensure high-quality results for assigned projects.
- Supervision of geotechnical site investigations, data compilation, and reporting.
- Creation of design parameters from field investigation data.
- Preparation of geotechnical reports.
- Assessment of slope stability, foundation bearing capacities, and settlements.
- Assessment of soil liquefaction and seismic deformation.
- Design of ground improvement.
- Preparation of laboratory testing schedules.
- Numerical modeling and analysis using software such as Slope/w, Plaxis, and Flac.
- Strong foundation in soil mechanics.
- Demonstrated experience in geotechnical investigation and analysis of foundations, embankments, and cut slopes.
- Understanding of technical aspects of geotechnical investigations, civil/geotechnical designs, documentation, and projects.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- A proven track record in project management and client liaison, with the ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Slope/W, Plaxis, Flac, and AutoCad software is an advantage.
- Commitment to travel internationally when required.
- Bachelor degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering; post-graduate qualification is highly regarded.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience within the civil and mining industry.
