Transport Project Coordinator Role

Our organization requires a seasoned Transport Project Coordinator to oversee transportation infrastructure projects for a short-term engagement. This position will focus on coordination of Light Rail projects and contribute to enhancing the customer experience by driving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively coordinate interface arrangements related to property development and major projects adjacent to the light rail to ensure protection of light rail corridors, assets, services, and customers.
  • Collaborate with corporate staff and service partners to develop agreements that protect light rail corridors, assets, services, and customers.
  • Manage planned service disruption regime, taking into account the needs of authorities and property developments within contractual requirements.
  • Lead outage management activities to ensure seamless delivery of transport services and sufficient alternative arrangements, capacity, contingencies, and strategies in place to serve customers and demand during major maintenance and private developer projects.
  • Prepare executive correspondence and briefing notes for relevant stakeholders on planned outages on the road and transport network.
  • Collaborate with authorities and other entities to plan and design treatments and processes to safeguard the integrity and safety of the network.
Essential Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in transportation planning, construction management, traffic management, or transport operations in an urban environment.
  • Security clearance checks (such as a Criminal Record Check).
  • Possess a valid motor vehicle driver's license and be willing to work outside regular working hours and travel occasionally.
