
Senior Coordinator Transport Infrastructure

Seeking a coordinator to lead and deliver our traffic and transport program.
About the RoleThis is a key leadership position responsible for providing strategic direction, managing resources and promoting a team environment to achieve business objectives. As the coordinator, you will be responsible for advocating for and seeking funding for active and sustainable transport opportunities.
The role requires demonstrated experience in administering council committees, preparing high-quality concept designs and providing advice on traffic and road safety issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership to build a proactive service, delivering an efficient, safe and integrated transport environment.
- Advocate for and seek funding for active and sustainable transport opportunities.
- Administer the Council Traffic Advisory Committee.
- Prepare high-quality concept designs for civil infrastructure road works.
- Provide advice on traffic and road safety issues.
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil/Civil & Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence.
- Construction Induction (White Card).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in local government traffic and/or related fields.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Permanent, Full-Time - 70 hours per fortnight.
- Base pay range: $127,000.00/yr - $148,000.00/yr.
- 12% superannuation.
