Job Title: Transportation Infrastructure Coordinator
About the Role:The Department of Transport is seeking a skilled professional to coordinate and prepare land use and transport planning advice for planners, developers, and other stakeholders.
This role requires strong analytical skills to identify potential conflicts between land use development and network safety or efficiency objectives. The ideal candidate will be able to provide expert advice on integrating existing and future land uses as part of transport infrastructure and services.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure understanding of departmental requirements for land use plans and development consents.
- Collaborate with other regions to build a consistent approach to land use planning assessment and management.
- Contribute to the development of strategies to integrate existing and future land uses with transport infrastructure and services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of NSW Government Planning Legislation:
- Demonstrated experience in integrated public transport and urban planning or traffic impact assessment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in town planning, land use planning/assessment, transport planning, engineering, environmental science, or another relevant discipline.
