- Develop and refine decision-support tools to review and update lists of prohibited and restricted biosecurity matter.
- Promote awareness of the risk assessment process and its importance in regulatory and operational responses.
- Maintain a library of scientific assessments supporting operational delivery and policy development.
- Contribute to surveillance plans, eradication feasibility assessments, and species-specific control plans.
- Stay up-to-date with contemporary methods for managing invasive species to develop and revise procedures, policies, and practices.
