We are seeking proactive and enthusiastic midwifery students to join our team in a challenging role.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for currently enrolled Bachelor of Midwifery students who have completed a minimum of the first year Spring semester clinical placement. The AIM position provides more access and experience in the clinical environment, enhancing learning and continuing to develop your clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve quality patient care outcomes by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
- Deliver woman-centred, effective, evidence-based midwifery care in accordance with ANMC National Competency Standards for the Midwife (2006).
- Supervise the work of others as required.
Requirements:
- Currently studying a Bachelor of Midwifery and have completed 12 months or more of an undergraduate Midwifery degree.
- Completed acute clinical placements as part of your undergraduate midwifery degree.
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
