Commercial Director Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive national sales growth in a fast-scaling food importer.

  • Own and execute the commercial strategy across all customer segments, including grocery retail, Asian independents, food service, and emerging cash & carry channels.
  • Lead strategic partnerships with key retailers and independents, negotiating terms and driving profitable category growth.
  • Expand customer reach across restaurants, catering, and food service operators, building scalable commercial programs.
  • Drive consumer engagement and revenue via brand-focused campaigns, in-store activation, promotions, and targeted trade programs.
  • Optimise pricing, product launches, and promotional plans aligned with consumer demand and supplier strategy.
  • Use sales data and market insights to identify trends, optimise performance, and uncover new revenue opportunities.
  • Work closely with finance, operations, and supply chain to align inventory, margin, and execution with commercial priorities.

The ideal candidate will be a senior commercial leader with experience in food import, distribution, or service. They must have proven success in building sales teams, driving brand growth, and delivering commercial outcomes.
