We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Tamworth. This role will require you to work on heavy-duty engines, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond promptly to breakdown events and provide emergency assistance as needed
- Maintain and repair fleets of engines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
- Capture and analyze engine data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Diagnostics and fault-finding skills to resolve complex issues
- Perform a diverse range of engine repairs, from minor adjustments to major overhauls
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Interact with customers and other OEMs to provide exceptional service and support
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in field service, particularly with heavy-duty engines
- Relevant trade qualification (heavy diesel preferred but not necessary)
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work autonomously
- A genuine commitment to workplace safety and adhering to industry standards
- A valid driver's license and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
