About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Operations Specialist to join our team at the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in cyber security operations.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and provide current advice drawn from emerging threat intelligence.
  • Develop strategies to detect and mitigate current and emerging cyber security threats.
  • Oversee and lead Threat Hunt and Incident Response activities.
  • Ensure effective application of monitoring and response capabilities.
  • Foster and develop relationships with internal stakeholders and domestic and international partners.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a cyber security operations centre.
  • Experience with security tooling such as Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM) tools.
  • Relevant qualifications within cyber security.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards and technologies.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to lead delivery outcomes.
  • Strong security awareness and risk management skills.
