We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to join our team at HiTech Group. This is a critical role within our organization, focusing on maintaining and enhancing the security posture of our national research systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and Analyzing Security Events: The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events, alerts, and logs to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Leading Incident Response Efforts: The candidate will lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, documentation, and recovery.
- Staying Up-to-Date with Cybersecurity Threats: The candidate will stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, recommending proactive measures to enhance security.
- Providing Guidance on Security Policies: The candidate will provide guidance on the implementation of security policies and procedures in line with ISM, DSPF, and PSPF.
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- 4+ Years of Experience in Security Operations: The candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, and Threat Hunting.
- Expertise in ISM, DSPF, and PSPF: The candidate will have expertise in ISM, DSPF, PSPF, and their practical implementation.
- Strong Knowledge of Windows Security: The candidate will have strong knowledge of Windows security (GPO, Active Directory, MFA), Linux platforms, and security infrastructure (firewalls, routers, IPS).
- Familiarity with Security Tools: The candidate will have familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, XDR, and MDR, along with a strong understanding of current cyber threats and mitigation strategies.
