About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at QinetiQ. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cyber worthiness of our defence platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with clients and task leads to plan resource management for the cyber worthiness team across multiple projects.
- Provide regular reporting on cyber-related tasks and activities.
- Collaborate with clients to improve cyber worthiness culture and practices.
- Lead or participate in teams developing, implementing, and maintaining cyber worthiness programs for defence platforms.
- Work with stakeholders to achieve certification and accreditation, including international partners and certification authorities.
- Participate in continuous skills development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a defence domain.
- Demonstrated understanding of defence cyber worthiness and ICT accreditation processes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
