Job Overview

The role of Warehouse Supervisor is a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics activities. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supervising and leading cost-effective warehousing and dispatch operations, including wholesale, to produce quality outcomes that emphasize workplace health and safety, food/hygiene safety, and legislative compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, lead, and coordinate shift and roster warehousing teams to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Implement changes in waste management, stock control, and DIFOT strategies to optimize production results and minimize losses.
  • Develop and implement workforce planning and organization of training, development, and coaching for new and existing employees to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Promote continuous improvement and implement change within the warehouse team by identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain loading schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Deliver clear and consistent communication across teams to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain working instructions and SOPs across functional responsibilities to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Proactively manage underperformance and disciplinary outcomes with relevant team members to maintain a high-performing team.
About You
  • Previous Warehouse supervision experience is essential for this role.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office software to perform tasks efficiently.
  • People management/leadership skills are required to motivate and guide team members.
  • Experience in supply chain and inventory control is necessary to optimize logistics operations.
  • Familiarity with WHS requirements is essential to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are required to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Results-driven and solution-focused approach is necessary to achieve targets and objectives.
