Operations and Logistics Manager Role

Bajara Plant Hire is a leading supplier of heavy machinery, plant and equipment for various sectors across Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Logistics Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for our business success and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all Bajara fleet and assets, including owned and subcontracted equipment.
  • Coordinate maintenance and servicing of fleet, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Manage and guide Plant and Equipment Operators, including recruitment and onboarding.
  • Coordinate and manage Bajara's workshop/depot and relevant personnel.
  • Inventory Management and Budget Management, providing cost reporting.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure project and machinery requirements are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior demonstrated experience in operations management.
  • Relevant experience in implementing systems and processes to drive business efficiency and outcomes.
  • Thorough working knowledge of the civil construction, earthmoving, and heavy plant hire industry.
  • Ability to work autonomously and use initiative.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to liaise with people at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
