Role Overview

A competitive salary of AUD 85,000 - 95,000 per annum, depending on experience, is being offered for this role. As an Operational Compliance Specialist at Anaconda Group in VIC - Metro, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our property portfolio adheres to relevant legislation and internal/external policies.

About the Role

This dynamic position involves implementing and enhancing the compliance framework for our property portfolio. You will manage compliance audits, inspections, and documentation for essential services, coordinating with relevant stakeholders and authorities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and enhancing the compliance framework for the property portfolio.
  • Managing compliance audits, inspections, and documentation for essential services.
  • Scheduling and managing asbestos audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and tenant notification.
  • Administering the registration of vertical transport systems and backflow prevention devices.
  • Coordinating tenancy checklists, collating fit-out documentation, and ensuring compliance with occupancy permit requirements.
  • Establishing and maintaining compliance procedures for new properties, ensuring successful ESM submissions and ongoing compliance.
Your Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong understanding of building maintenance, compliance, and building services/infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering complex compliance processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation and relationship-building.
  • A natural problem solver with an analytical approach and strong attention to detail.
  • Organised and comfortable multi-tasking and prioritising.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
