About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator/Customer Service/Operations Specialist to join our team at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. This is a permanent full-time role based in our head office in Chatswood, Sydney, with a combination of working from home to suit your work-life balance.

This role involves managing event schedules, critical paths, and run sheets, as well as creating and managing overall exhibitor manuals. You will provide customer service and communication with exhibitors, visitors, speakers, and internal functional teams, and organize associated functions including feature areas, briefings, social events, seminars, and meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage event schedules, critical paths, and run sheets
  • Create and manage overall exhibitor manuals
  • Provide customer service and communication with exhibitors, visitors, speakers, and internal functional teams
  • Organize associated functions including feature areas, briefings, social events, seminars, and meetings
  • Provide onsite and pre-show support in various roles
  • Regularly update and keep the Master Spreadsheet up to date
  • Assist in other administrative tasks as required
  • Event guide and other show collateral production

Requirements:

  • Possess substantial administration and customer support expertise, along with a solid understanding of business principles
  • Event background is a plus, but not required. Other related experiences/industries include Customer Service, administration/receptionist, and Hospitality
  • Have a can-do attitude with a flexible and adaptive approach to any situation
  • Maintain high attention to detail and work efficiently within tight deadlines while staying organized
  • Possess well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Customer Service experience is a must, ability to deal with challenging or demanding customers
