Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our team. As an Events Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events and meetings, providing exceptional customer service to our guests and members.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Setup and Execution
- Assist with the setup and teardown of event spaces, ensuring everything is in place for a successful event.
- Support the Events team in coordinating logistics, including seating arrangements, audio-visual equipment, and other event necessities.
- Help manage event timelines, ensuring that everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Customer Service
- Greet and assist event attendees with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about the event, schedule, and venue amenities.
- Address any guest or member's concerns or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Assist with registration and check-in processes, ensuring a smooth flow of attendees.
- On-Site Support
- Monitor the event environment, including cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience, and take action as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other event staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Distribute event materials to attendees, such as brochures, programs, and promotional items.
- Post-Event Duties
- Assist with the cleanup and reorganization of the event space.
- Gather feedback from attendees and provide insights to improve future events.
- Help with inventory management of event supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in events, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with event setup and coordination is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
